In the fall of 2005, four classical musicians with successful solo and ensemble careers presented a concert far off the beaten path of the typical mainstream classical program. The concert reflected the distinctive tastes of each individual member -- piano, harp, vibraphone and double bass -- while fusing classical music with elements of jazz thereby creating an excitingly different new sound.

The Blue Chamber Quartet spices traditional chamber music of the 20th century with unique “blue note” overtones.
