For seventeen years, Andy Stein’s violin performances have been a signature musical component on A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. His distinctive sound was also prominent in the film of the same name. 

Andy has been a featured soloist with many performing ensembles, including Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. He has recorded with renowned artists Itzhak Perlman, Placido Domingo, Marilyn Horne and Frederica Von Stade,  appeared on numerous television programs, including Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live.

Andy is joined by pianist Conal Fowkes who has performed internationally, appearing on radio, television and film.  He was a featured soloist in the Broadway show One Mo’ Time and can be seen and/or heard in the films Madame Suzatska, Ghost World, Finding Forester and The Aviator
