In addition to being a reputed master of classical piano,
Thomas Tirino is considered a major authority of Spanish
and Latin American music, as well as the leading authority
and interpreter of Cuban composer Ernesto Lecuona’s
work. Gramophone dubbed him “The Latin Lover,”
writing, “his cut glass virtuosity and wickedly seductive
charm are truly formidable.”

Achieving his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the
Juilliard School, he also won the school’s coveted Gina
Bauchauer award. Countless international tours, awards,
honors and orchestral performances later, Thomas Tirino
is a designated Steinway Artist endorsed by the Lecuona
Estate, and a legend-in-the making, aptly dubbed “The
Gypsy King.”
