Cameroon native, Njacko and his 4-piece band, Kalimba
Kalimba bring joy to the heart and soul. Multi-facted artist,
Njacko performs authentic music from his traditional
African upbringing, naming his band after his father’s
profession of playing kalimba (African thumb piano).
He learned toumkak (drum) and zaa koua (harp) from
the village elders, who played for his grandmother and
mother to dance.

His world journey began at age 17, resulting in Njacko not
only discovering his own dance skills, but in becoming
a renowned African percussionist. Njacko and Kalimba
Kalimba bring the sweet sounds of Africa to your town,
joyously merging traditional music with a distinctly
“Njacko” twist.
