Live On Stage is excited to announce a new video series, “The Bottom Line.” These videos will be short discussions focused on common issues and questions faced by most concert organizations. Topics will reflect our experiences in the workshops and one-on-one discussions that LOS engages in on a daily basis.
Many of our affiliates are currently involved in campaigns to support the upcoming 2013-2014 season. In this light, the inaugural episode will offer a few tips about strategies for board membership and campaigns for long term growth and success.

No longer are we “just a music club” – no sir! We are Arts and Community Leaders! As a network of arts presenters we offer much more than an occasional event. We bring vitality to our community, including deepening the education of our youth and broadening economic activity.
As if on cue, shortly after Conference I stumbled across a couple of articles I would like to pass on about the state and status of the arts in communities across the nation.
Please take a moment to read and pass around to your board. This is a great time to be a cultural leader!
That’s right, it’s time to start sharing photos!
For those delegates who posed for a photo at the Conference gala, the pictures have now been posted.
As promised in the publicity seminar, we are delivering this news, and the photos themselves, via Livewire.

Now That Your Campaign is Rolling…
You should have already assembled your army of volunteers, identified a 50-mile radius around your town, and streamlined your renewal process and focused 80% of your time and volunteer effort on new business. It is now time to look at some the challenges that you might encounter during your campaign. We will also look at effective ways to assemble and use your database.
Last year at the Live On Stage National Conference in Nashville, TN many delegates attended a break-out session where we discussed our new “Strategic Planning Workshop” program. The break-out session began with a question to the delegates, “What are the top issues facing community concerts today?” Here were some of the answers that were given:
Are you hungry for inspiration to transform the arts in your community?
Do you love up-close and personal live showcases?
Have we got a deal for you!
