Live On Stage is excited to announce a new video series, “The Bottom Line.” These videos will be short discussions focused on common issues and questions faced by most concert organizations. Topics will reflect our experiences in the workshops and one-on-one discussions that LOS engages in on a daily basis.
Many of our affiliates are currently involved in campaigns to support the upcoming 2013-2014 season. In this light, the inaugural episode will offer a few tips about strategies for board membership and campaigns for long term growth and success. Continue reading »

If you attended my workshop at Conference, you know by now that all of us are being asked to put on new hats and take on new roles.
No longer are we “just a music club” – no sir! We are Arts and Community Leaders! As a network of arts presenters we offer much more than an occasional event. We bring vitality to our community, including deepening the education of our youth and broadening economic activity.
As if on cue, shortly after Conference I stumbled across a couple of articles I would like to pass on about the state and status of the arts in communities across the nation.
