Why Go?

The National Conference is an unparalleled opportunity to grow and be inspired about the work you are doing for your community.  Each year LOS strives not only to provide top-shelf entertainment, but workshops and interactive opportunities to sharpen your knowledge and skills to help your association succeed.

Of course, it is also a great opportunity to share the successes and challenges of concert organizations with hundreds of fellow association members from around the country.  Last year nearly 100 towns were represented!

This year will be something special as Live On Stage celebrates 10 years of providing artists and concert support services to nearly 200 communities.

For LOS staff and our area representatives, we love meeting and interacting face-to-face with the people and communities we strive to serve all year long.

Come join the family…come join the fun.

  1. At the dinner for the close of last year’s meeting, we had the pleasure of having the Abrams brothers as our table guests. A great group – friendly & unassuming – they’ll be here in Topeka in person!

  2. Greetings!

Although we have not yet attended a Live On Stage Annual Conference, as Board Members of the Victor Valley Community Concert Association, my wife, Kimberly, and I are very impressed with the quality of Live On Stage musicians and performers! Our 49th Annual Season opened on October 2, 2011, with a bang as the Shangri La Chinese Acrobats wowed our nearly full house. Their amazing acrobatics, sense of humor, and athletic prowess was awesome. It was great to see this type of variety within the Live On Stage performers, and we as Board Members welcome fun, active events/performers like these.

  3. I haven’t been able to attend a conference yet (this has been my first year enjoying the concerts here) but hope to do so this year as part of the Grant County Community Concert Association board here in Silver City, NM. I’ve been amazed at the quality of the performers we’ve had this year. The latest one – Anita Chen – really amazed me with her abilities on both the violin and the piano – it was quite the treat to hear her perform! I’m really looking forward to seeing who we’ll have to choose from for this next year!

  4. Last year was a great conference. We had so much fun! The acts were stellar! The last evening banquet was great fun and so entertaining. We had a chance to touch base with several stars. I think the Side Street Strutters were the greatest! Even though we have already had them in Midland, I still enjoy their music and their exuberance.
We are looking forward to a special 10th Anniversary convention. It will be our fourth to attend.

  5. I look forward each year to meet new concert friends, re-aquaint with old ones and just being in Nashville, where we visit the same restaurants summer after summer. As a board member under Columbia Artist Management (before Live on Stage), in comparison I can honestly say the range and quality of entertainment, for the most part, has been exceptional. How can you go wrong with acts like Pianafiddle, Canadian Tenors, Daniel Rodriguez, Jason Coleman, Dallas Brass, Pavlo to name a few? Our faithful and dedicated members keep coming back year after year. Thanks LOS!

  6. I attended the first Live On stage Conference after attending several “Community Concert” conferences. I was very excited after attending that first one. It was so much more enlightening about the available concerts and offered much more help to organizatons. I have attended all but one of the conferences, and the one I missed was only because my grandaughter got married on Long Island that weekend.

  7. We have had some good luck using our website and Paypal, and this year we had about 30 people buy Billy Dean tickets from as far away as San Diego! Following a favorite performer, they filled our first three rows with enthusiasm and excitement as he took the stage here in Victorville for the fourth performance of the Victor Valley Community Concert Association, Inc. Marilyn Anderson

  8. My 2nd time to a Conference, the first was so well organized and so helpful

We decided to print up ballots for our attendees so they could make quick notes and later rank the auditions relative to our budegt. We present this at a local board meeting for those who didn’t go.
